As a little boy, I never dreamed of one day becoming a REALTOR. Instead, it was a long, exciting process for me to find my true calling in life. And it all started with my first home buying experience back in the mid 90’s.
After driving my REALTOR nuts, looking at tons of houses and taking my sweet time, I finally settled on THE one — a charming 1920’s home in Crestwood. It was amazing! However, it needed some minor updating and a lot of TLC. My vision was grand but I didn’t have a budget to hire someone to complete the renovations. Instead, I taught myself the fundamentals of home improvement. And a personal journey began.
The first property sold. Another was purchased and I was officially in the business of “flipping” houses. I had investors, clients, a REALTOR and a team of folks to help with the renovations. I experienced the in’s and out’s of real estate – buying, selling, listing, inspections, appraisals, financing and the emotions tied to homeownership. And I feel in love!
Now as a professional, full-time REALTOR, it’s my job to assist my clients with making the process as smooth as possible. And my personal experience affords me the ability to understand what my clients go through when buying or selling a home.
